At Visions of Nature, our goal is to preserve your trophy to the highest quality for years of enjoyment. We won’t sacrifice craftsmanship by using anything less than the highest grade materials available.
We are committed to accurately portraying your trophy as anatomically correct as possible. Although we are not the cheapest, we feel the real bargain is in the lifelike mounts that we strive to produce.
From deer, to moose or from foxes to African safaris, you can trust us with your trophy of the lifetime, knowing that you will get only the best in return.

We tan all our skins, from squirrels to bears, whether it’s a commercial tan or one of our exceptional in house tans.
Using the best tans, forms, glass eyes and other top quality materials, we spend the time necessary to make your trophy come to life, or as we like to call it a “vision of nature”.
It’s the little details that make the difference, from nictating membranes to septums, right down to hidden treasures in the habitat.

Although ribbons are nice, they don’t make a mount but we compete at local and state competitions to ensure that we stay on the cutting edge of technology and techniques. One of the other benefits of competing is to ensure that our work continues to improve and not become stagnant. And we have studied with some of the best in the state, as well as other states, either through one on one training, seminars and competing.

We are located between Winston-Salem and Charlotte, North Carolina, right off U.S. Hwy 52 near Lexington, in the beautiful community of Welcome. We are just down the road from Richard Childress Racing. Within an hours drive of Greensboro, HighPoint, Concord and most other central North Carolina communities. We are a state licensed taxidermy facility and a proud member of the N.C. Taxidermists Association and the United Taxidermist Association.

Because of the nature of doing high quality taxidermy, we focus on quality not quantity. We only take in a limited quantity of work to ensure that our clients receive our utmost attention. Our attention to detail doesn’t just end with your mount, we spend as much time with the base and habitat. Whether it’s using artificial plants or professionally preserved plants, we strive to recreate the natural scenery from the area where the trophy was taken. From ferns and grasses to match Canadian woodlands to sands and plants to represent the African experience, we want you to remember the total experience.
